I had the fortune to participate in the 2nd London Mathbio conference, which gathered mathematical biologists from Europe to share their research in a close and direct interactions. I was happy to meet old and new friends, and I presented work on an algebraic model of self-organized systems.

I had a great time visiting the folks at the new School of Complex Adaptive Systems at ASU. I gave a talk on relational models of self-organization.
